Travel & Anxiety after the Pandemic

Holiday bookings are now soaring after the government announced a relaxation of international travel rules. The traffic light system which has caused many travellers so much grief will be replaced by just one ‘red list’ of destinations. Travellers arriving in England will have to quarantine in a government-approved hotel.

Also, if you are fully vaccinated you will no longer need a pre-departure test when you return from non-red list country, and from the end of October you will be able to replace the day two PCR test with a cheaper lateral flow test.

So with the new rules many of us will be looking forward to a much-needed holiday, bu many are also feeling anxoius hesitant about going away again. Far from feeling excited, the thought of travelling to unfamiliar places with the new rules in place may mean additional stress and anxiety and could stop many from booking thst holiday.
